I love the idea of increasing your vocabulary and helping others with your words. It's a great idea to get ourselves past the low self-confidence stage. Way to go!

@Nathalie - Yeps! That's one huge way to also get us out of the low self-confidence stage. Words sure builds others up when we speak, but when we learn them, they too will build us up. :)

@Avani-Mehta - Glad that you liked this! :D

Man! You are so right about words, they are powerful in the extreme. The words we speak to ourselves or the words we allow others to speak to us and accept will mold us and make us what we are. Change the words - change the life.

"To make it simple: deal with the bad habit of self-doubt."

    Amen to that.

That's the worst bad habit of all.

It's hard to shake that negative self-talk, but it's crucial.

Thank you for a thought-provoking post!

I totally agree with getting yourself into the lives of positive people. Based on personal experience, I was once a shy person who couldn't do the things I want because of it and lack the ability to believe in my own strength. Then I got acquainted with positive people and eventually got along with them and gained self-confidence. It was then that I realized the difference of having self-confidence in my life. There was just more happiness and contentment because I am able to do what I want and even face my fears.
